Presentation of the BigDataGrapes project at the SFARM workshop

On Monday the 14th of January 2018 the SFARM workshop on "Sustainable Farming" (SFARM Erasmus+ Programme) was held within Agricultural University of Athens premises. 

The SFARM project aims in advancing the skills of academic staff, students and agricultural extension staff in partner Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) of Laos, Vietnam, China and Indonesia, through the development of new curricula and a MSc programme that integrate in a practical way the latest developments in agricultural applied research. The purpose is to provide agricultural stakeholders with knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of agro-environmental technology for sustainable agriculture.

The aim of this workshop was to inform and exchange views with project partners from 8 Asian Universities on the use of modern technologies in agriculture, education and research, in Greece and internationally.

The BigDataGrapes project was presented at the workshop through an oral presentation by the Department of Natural Resources Management & Agricultural Engineering from Agricultural University of Athens. For more information regarding the SFARM project please check here .
