Presentation of BigDataGrapes project at CNR-DIITET Department Conference - 'Informatica' Strategic Area

The conference of November 30, 2018 at the Auditorium of the CNR Research Area of ​​Pisa, was divided into four thematic sessions of high relevance and potential future impact:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Big Data
  • Next Generation Networks
  • Cybersecurity
  • e-Infrastructures

Each session included an invited report and three interventions by researchers from different Cnr institutes of the Department of engineering, ICT and energy and transport technologies.

Data Science Leuven connects a wide variety of people working with data around Leuven: statisticians, data engineers, data-driven business people, PhD students, researchers both academic and commercial-industrial, product designers, market researchers.

When GFIA was launched in 2014 at the invitation of the Abu Dhabi government, it leveraged partnerships with 40 powerful organisations including the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the World Bank, that wanted a platform to show the world how technology gives us the only real chance of feeding nine billion people without destroying the environment.

The European Big Data Value community has been gathered on the 14-16th of May, 2018 in Sofia, Bulgaria in an event organised by the Big Data Value PPP, with the twofold objective of strengthening collaborations among community members and increasing the visibility and awareness about the PPP in East Europe in general, and Bulgaria in particular.

The event, which was preceded by two days of workshops and parallel sessions for PPP projects and BDVA members, has been involved relevant keynotes from Bulgaria and the EC.
